Brownie Granola

Brownies for breakfast anyone? Okay, not entirely brownies. But a pretty close rank in chocolate flavour, if you ask me. As someone who can basically live off dessert, this is a great morning treat to start the day.

Ready in 30 minutes

Serves 4 cups 


Ingredients

  • 2 cups rolled oats

  • ½ cup mixed nuts of choice

  • ¼ cup coconut sugar

  • ¼ cup cocoa powder

  • ¼ cup coconut oil

  • ¼ cup maple syrup

  • Pinch of salt

  • 1 tsp vanilla

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees

  2. In a medium size bowl, mix together oats and nuts. Stir until combined and set aside

  3. Heat a saucepan on low-medium heat. Add in coconut sugar, cocoa powder, maple syrup, coconut oil & salt. Cook until sugar has dissolved. Remove from heat and add vanilla

  4. Add to oat mixture and stir until combined

  5. Transfer to a baking sheet, lined with parchment paper. Evenly spread and flatten mixture on tray

  6. Cook for 20-23 minutes
