Chocolate Oat Energy Balls

Serves 12-15 energy balls Ready in 5 minutes or less VEGAN-friendly Ingredients

  • 1 cup oats

  • ½ cup flax meal

  • 3 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1 tbsp brown sugar

  • 2 tbsp chia seeds

  • ½ cup dark chocolate chip

  • 2 tbsp coconut oil

  • ¼ cup maple syrup

  • ⅓ cup almond butter

Preparation

  1. In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine all ingredients

  2. Pop in the microwave for 20-25 seconds, until chocolate chips melt & almond butter softens. Mix until entire mixture turns dark chocolate brown

  3. Chill in fridge for 10-12 minutes. Makes rolling a lot easier

  4. Roll mixture into 1” balls and enjoy!
