Healthy French Toast



Ready in 10 minutes

Serves 6 slices


Ingredients

  • 6 slices whole grain bread (you can also use Ezekiel bread)

  • 1 ripe banana

  • ½ cup unsweetened almond milk

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • ½ tsp vanilla

  • Coconut oil, for greasing

Preparation

  1. In a food processor, blend together banana, almond milk, cinnamon and vanilla

  2. Heat small saucepan over low-medium heat and grease with coconut oil

  3. Dip one slice of bread into banana mixture and cook on each side until preferred color; repeat with each slice.

  4. Serve with sliced bananas and maple syrup, and enjoy!
